About this course:
The Health Care Emergency Management course is designed as a 16-hour course, offering discussion-based, interactive, scenario-driven didactic education incorporating a discussion-based exercise as a teaching tool.
The course is a required component of the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association’s Florida Associate Emergency Manager – Health Care (FAEM-HC) and Florida Professional Emergency Manager – Health Care (FPEM - HC) certifications. These certifications recognize devoted individuals who have met all the necessary requirements for certification as a FAEM or a FPEM and possess advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform effectively within a comprehensive realm of a health care emergency management program.
