Medical Surge Management examines the process for medical management of the immediate response phase of a mass trauma event. Explores considerations and challenges of establishing triage and life-saving interventions at the scene, transition of patients to healthcare facilities, and the prioritization and providing of emergency, life-saving treatment at a healthcare facility to do the best for the most patients.
